If you're sorting through D4 items for your next upgrade, the Annihilus Seal is the standout addition described in Season 15's secret update. The old Diablo 2 charm returns as a Unique Horadric Seal for your talisman, with bonuses that could change how you build your character. Its listed rolls include 10-20% to all stats, 10-20% to elemental resistances, 5-10 ranks to all skills, and 5-10% extra experience. That skill bonus is the real draw. Greater affixes can push it further, so a strong roll could give you room to rethink gear you'd previously considered essential.
Watch what happens after a World Boss
Getting the Seal means facing an Echo of Uber Diablo, rather than simply running your usual loot route. One reported encounter starts after a World Boss falls on the highest Torment difficulties. Don't immediately teleport away when the fight ends. If the event activates, you'll see the message "Diablo walks the earth," followed by the boss arriving shortly afterward. It's a familiar touch for longtime players, but there's a practical reason to pay attention: leaving too quickly could mean missing the encounter you came for. The appearance is conditional, so don't expect every World Boss kill to produce another fight.
The Fields of Hatred route needs preparation
The alternative takes you into the Fields of Hatred, where purifying Seeds of Hatred at an Altar of Extraction can attract Uber Diablo. This isn't described as a guaranteed appearance, either. More importantly, the PvP version hits hard enough that an ordinary endgame setup may struggle badly. Treat it as a serious encounter, not a quick detour between activities. If your character can't handle the highest Pit tiers comfortably, improving your setup first makes more sense than repeatedly rushing the ritual.
Check your defenses before starting purification.
Leave yourself room to react when the encounter begins.
Bring a build you've already tested in demanding fights.
Unexpected cosmetics aren't necessarily yours to use
The cosmetic situation is less straightforward. Players have reported an Ursine portal, a White Wildcat mount, trophies, and premium armor sets appearing unexpectedly. Rogue, Druid, Necromancer, Sorcerer, and Spiritborn sets are included in those reports, while Paladin and Warlock aren't. Finding something in your inventory doesn't mean you can equip it. Some players can't claim the items, and certain sets have already been disabled. That makes this look more like an unintended distribution than a planned giveaway. Don't build your next character's look around an outfit that may remain unavailable.
Leaderboard changes affect more than rankings
The Artificer's Obelisk reset and temporary tower closure address players equipping two charms improperly. Top 1,000 competitors in their categories received an emblem and a Resplendent Spark through Horadric Post, while leaderboard inspections now show gear more accurately. For players browsing D4 items buy options, those clearer equipment views offer useful build context, though copying a top-ranked setup still won't replace understanding how it works.
